Some time ago, it was difficult for my Dad to understand how I was working for a client who is based in another country. At the time, he found this challenging to understand; how we had meetings, how I presented a power point presentation to a room filled with people in the foreign country and how we shared documents in an effective way rather than managing thousand versions flying in out and out of our inboxes.
