Hey Leaders,

There is a thought that keeps one of my event clients wide awake at night and that is the concern of ‘Not knowing what to organise first and making sure nothing is forgotten”.. Sound familiar?

Once (hopefully soon) we’re looking forward to life returning post COVID-19 and business operations return to the new normalcy. That restrictions are lifted and we return to what we hope to be a better world and in saying that, opportunity to organise an event to bring to your clients and prospects together to share knowledge, learn new methods in your business service and quite frankly re-connect in person with your customers and clients. (sounds wonderful to me!).

When I heard this statement from my client of the uncertainty of what to organise first in her events, I shared our event strategy to bring her clarity of the steps. The event strategy can be your guiding light, a guiding light for your effectively planned event.

Now I know how it goes, when organising an event, you & your team will have a million of things to do; from organising a venue, to creating the marketing attraction campaign, public relations to help spread the word, creating sponsorship attraction campaigns, organising ticket sales or RSVP options and the multiple operational requirements that go into planning the event. Plus, actually running your business! I hear what you’re saying, there isn’t enough time in the day!!

And… that’s where the event strategy comes into play…. To keep track of each stage and your guiding light to providing you with a super clear direction.

Elements include the key event milestones, venue layout and the delegation of roles and responsibilities for your team.

This is why I wanted to share with you today, our event planning steps behind hosting an event. These are the 10 steps we use in our business and have done so since 2013.

With our background of event strategy and planning we can guide you on your critical issues like; your key milestones to hit, event budgets, identifying and attracting partner sponsors and staffing needs for the event.

Because when you create an event strategy for your business event, there is nothing you cannot overcome.

The event all becomes possible.

Till next week,

Lauren x
